Starting my life with The Wheel Specialist

Colin Smith director of The Wheel Specialist Edinburgh explains why joining The Wheel Specialist has been the most rewarding experience of his life.

You couldn’t believe that 16 weeks would pass in an instant, but from signing my contract that’s exactly how it felt. Both the Franchise Support team and Franchisors were so helpful and supportive throughout the whole set up; it’s great to have that backing, especially from people who have bags of experience in setting up businesses.

The marketing team at Franchise support arranged my whole PR and promotion launch for me, which a real weight off my shoulders. It was a fantastic launch; leads started pouring in like there was no tomorrow. Along with the bespoke online quote system, which had literally hundreds of thousands of pounds worth in quotes waiting for me when I started; my whole launch was just incredible.

I feel very fortunate that this is my job, I get to spend my day with cars I love, and once I put wheels back on vehicle I get an overwhelming sense of pride; my customers fantastic reactions to their wheels make it even more worthwhile. After my first day I couldn’t wait to get back in and start all over again, running your own business is so much fun!

I am so glad I made the decision to join the Wheel Specialist; it’s a company that looks after me as an individual as well as part of a network. It hasn’t been easy; but the financial rewards are just fantastic.

The support element of this franchise is something that surprised me from day one. I still can’t believe the level of support I am continually given. It’s just such a pleasure to work in a network that feels like a family and with franchisors that are always here to help. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be having a long relationship with the wheel specialist, this feels like home for me.
