The idea for this business arose because the promoter identified a business opportunity that aims to combine the export of a successful product in Portugal (the 'francesinha' – a typical Portuguese dish, born in the Portuguese city named ‘Porto’) with the import of the 'fresh beer' concept (nonexistent in Portugal).
The idea is to do for 'francesinhas' what was done for 'pastel de nata' a few years ago: expand it globally.
Along with the 'francesinha' concept, we add the 'fresh beer' concept, which will bring freshness to the mix, enhancing its sales and overall success.
The production of beer and 'francesinhas' will be carried out in a central unit, with subsequent distribution to the other commercial units, where they will be regenerated and consumed.
This will only be possible due to the use of innovative conservation and regeneration techniques, which demonstrate the innovative aspect of this project. The use of these methodologies will be crucial for the project's development and success, as well as for the implementation of its expansion strategy.
The location dedicated to this project (where the central kitchen will be established) will be the starting point for the concept's national and international expansion.
In the initial phase, it will be expanded nationally (continental Portugal), and later internationally (with a special focus on Spanish markets - Madrid, French markets - Paris, and the United Kingdom - London, where there are many emigrants).
This will also be the innovative scope of this project.
The implementation of this project will go through four phases. This document only covers the first phase (due to the investment required to complete the other two).
The phases will be:
1. Opening of the central kitchen with a Brew Pub at the front (to generate revenue in the initial phase of the project);
2. Establishment of central production of 'fresh beer';
3. National expansion;
4. International expansion."
